Digital Controller
The included digital controller constantly monitors your system’s incoming fluid temperature. Flow is required at all times for accurate temperature readings. -
Commercial Chillers: Suitable for outdoor use, excluding the all-in-one Commercial Water Chiller.
-
Can I use a Standard Water Chiller for cold therapy?

-
How do I prevent damage to my chiller?
-
Regular Filter Cleaning: Clean filters weekly to maintain water flow and avoid ice buildup.
-
Maintain Water Levels: Ensure proper water levels to avoid damage to the heat exchanger.
-
Do Penguin Chillers have built-in pumps?
- Except for Cold Therapy Chillers, Penguin Chillers do not include built-in pumps. Customers should choose the pump based on their specific application.
-
How often should I clean the filter?
- Regular cleaning is important to prevent restricted water flow and potential damage to the heat exchanger. Clean filters about once a week.
-
What size pump should I use?
-
Water Chillers: We recommend pumps between 500–1,800 GPH to achieve a minimum flow rate of 250 GPH. Consider your setup's specific needs when choosing a pump.
-
What is the lowest temperature my chiller can reach?
- For water chillers, we recommend not running continuously below 37°F, though it may reach 36°F during testing under specific conditions.
